ACPO Public Protection Conference

Following the success of the 2009 Public Protection Conference, the event moved to Warwickshire to embark upon the 2010 themes.

The focus of the conference included how Public Protection can continue to develop amidst the challenges of major restructuring taking place throughout the police service.  There was also information covering the revised ACPO guidance on Protecting the Public (published in Summer 2010) and the changes it introduces.

This was achieved via a mix of formal speakers, breakout sessions and interactive workshops, each chosen in order to provide up to date information and expertise to ensure that the event was of value to all who attend.

Delegate attendee numbers exceeded 200, therefore, the event once again provided sponsors and exhibitors with a unique networking opportunity amongst professionals from operational, management and strategic levels dealing with the management of sexual offenders and violent offenders.
