ACPO Drugs 2006

November 2006 saw CJS's involvement in the third ACPO Drugs Conference, hosted on behalf of the Association of Chief Police Officers.

The event was a great success, with a record number of delegates hearing the key note speech from the then Drugs Minister, Vernon Croaker. As usual such a major conference was well attended by all branches of the media and it hit the news headlines of the day, when the Vice Chairman of the ACPO Drugs committee, Howard Roberts, proposed a radical measure as a crime reduction solution.

CJS provided all event services for this conference, from front of house management through to all technical support, including lighting, sound, and presentation production.
